After a trimester of new experiences, especially the switch from traditional to virtual learning, the long-awaited Thanksgiving Break has passed. It was a great time to rest up, and for high schoolers, a good time to prepare for SAT or ACT exams. As the December SAT opening in BISV has been canceled due to the current COVID-19 situation, test dates have been moved back once again, giving everyone more time to prepare for these exams. Trimester 2 has started recently as well, so this nice break was a relaxed opening to a more stable learning period.
This Thanksgiving, most people were indoors quarantined. However, there were still great ways to relax and have fun besides studying (if that should be counted as relaxing at all). Many took to writing poetry, or drawing, painting, molding, singing, among other forms of art to lift their mood and destress in this stressful period, in addition to preparing for any upcoming tests or projects. We hope you were able to chat with family members, eat a good Thanksgiving meal, and remember the things you’re thankful for in life.
Happy Thanksgiving!
