Hello my lovely Gen Z people. iIt’s 2024. Clearly, 2023 is done, but there are certain things I bought in 2023 that will be staying for 2024.

The first thing that needs to stay is my water bottle. Everyone keeps asking me where to get it because it’s so cute, and they are always flabbergasted when I tell them that it was only $20 on Amazon. It gives a minimalist, clean-girl energy. For those who don’t know what the clean girl aesthetic is, it’s the look of a girl who is perfectly put together, but not over the top. The clean girl is a girl who knows what she wants and gets it because she has a clear understanding of her goals as well as a plan to achieve them. 2024 is all about the clean girl. Thus, 2024 is all about being the girl with this water bottle.

We’re in high school, so let’s be real. We’re facing skin issues that we can never seem to resolve, especially clogged pores. This was the last thing I bought in 2023 and it is here to stay for sure. I was a little skeptical about buying it because it was $24, but I had only ever heard the best reviews about this product. It’s TikTok’s favorite lip gloss, and TikTok did not lie. The Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm has all the qualities people look for in a lip gloss: long-wearing, natural, and doesn’t dry your lips out or cause a visually displeasing white residue. I bought it in pink sugar because the darker shade, brown sugar, was sold out. Naturally, I thought that it would look too white for my lips because I’m quite tanned, but it just looked so natural and perfect. Be the most beautiful version of yourself with this perfect lip gloss.

I wear these bootcut jeans at least three times a week, and they haven’t ripped in any place yet, which is crazy to me. They are so comfortable and they fit perfectly on all body types. I’m 4’11 so it is such a struggle to find jeans that fit, and these cropped jeans work perfectly. These cropped jeans would also look cool on tall people because they would show off some of your legs, giving a chic, model-off-duty look. These are the perfect pair of basic light-wash jeans, and 2024 is here for that.
I have been wearing Converse for the last two years everyday, and I can say they last. These shoes are timeless and they look good even when they are super dirty. These shoes are great for school and they were made for hot girl walks. Plus, they never look overdone. There is nothing left to say. Every day is a white converse day. Therefore, every year is a white converse year. By this logic, 2024 has got to be a white converse year. Believe it, and wear them.
