Eyes – Haunted Histories and Strangest Mysteries

By Mahika D.

1) Grey
The storm of the sea
The inclement instigator
The one who you

2) Blue
Sometimes soft
Sometimes sweet
Sometimes electric
Sometimes exhilarating
The life of the party
But only for a little while

3) Purple
Balanced between

The most unusual
The most beautiful

4) Red
When you gaze
Into these eyes
You wonder

What is hiding under there?
What is hurting them?
Who is hurting them?

And then your eyes go red
The redness pulling
And pulling
And pulling
You’re too far under
To be saved

5) Black
The color of inked promise
And promises are inked
In these pools of dark water
Always shifting
Always swallowing
And just when you think
You’re gone

You see something
You see something strange

You see white
