As time goes on, whether it is in aesthetics or functionality, car companies keep surprising the public with some crazy vehicles. For example, Porsche, which maintains a generic and consistent look, released a beautiful car that broke that barrier, and also released images of many concept cars in their book, “Porsche Unseen.”
In their book, Porsche revealed the 919 Street, which is based on their 919 Hybrid that performed in the Le Mans race. In stock form, it lacks a potential wing or spoiler, but a modded wing would certainly make the car even more eye-catching. In addition to the wing, it has an enormous diffuser which has never been seen on a road-legal car before to this magnitude. Also, unlike most Porsche vehicles, the 919 Street has butterfly doors, meaning its doors open vertically rather than horizontally. Sadly, this car will never be built as the design was stopped. This street-legal car would be unmatched as it would have 900 hp if it is built.
The Porsche Vision Spyder, sampled from the Porsche RS Spyder, is another concept car which was revealed in “Porsche Unseen.” It has potential for upgrades as the car doesn’t come with a roof and holds a basic cockpit. Similar to the 919 Street, this vehicle is unexpected from Porsche as they usually design generic cars. The headlights can be compared to the Nissan GTR, and the taillight style seems to originate from older muscle cars.
“Porsche Unseen” released the Porsche Vision Renndienst, which is the company’s first taste of a minivan. This electric minivan seems to be heavily influenced by the Volkswagen T1, better known as the “Hippie Van” or “Hippie Bus.” The car has sliding doors that function just like space shuttles in movies, and the seating arrangement is alien, too. The Renndienst would have three rows for six seats. In the first row, there is only a single seat for the driver , which can swivel so that the driver can talk to passengers easily. In the second row, there are two seats with a large dividing gap for people to get into the back. Of course, the traditional third row has three seats. The left side of the vehicle is a privacy screen instead of a window. Despite being a concept car, the Rennsdienst is an intriguing car for Porsche due to the innovation of technology and uniqueness of their seats and features.
The convertible Ferrari SF90 Spider, a variant of the SF90 Stradale, is a prime example of science-fiction-like hypercars that many fans look forward to driving in the near future. As several other car brands choose to convert to electric-powered vehicles, Ferrari made this car a hybrid. However, this didn’t take away from its fanatic top speed of 211 mph and 986 hp. The beautiful car has a 4 liter twin turbo V8 engine with three electric motors. It has unique touch-screen features in the steering wheel and central board which you rarely find in hypercars. The road-legal drop-top Ferrari SF90 Spider will be available at the end of 2021, priced near $550,000.
Recently, Lamborghini collaborated with the Italian Sea Group to make a yacht. Although this seems like an ambitious idea, several other luxury or sports car brands have tried building yachts, the Lamborghini yacht being the most notable of them all. The yacht’s pair of MAN V12 engines and light weight of 24 tons due to carbon fiber allows it to reach 60 knots or 69 mph. The boat has 4000 hp and costs a whopping $3,600,000. The yacht has already been bought by UFC champion Conor Mcgregor.
